Home Soil

We’re up bright and early for our appointment at the US Consulate for Alexander’s immigration appointment. We hope they don’t ask him any difficult US History questions– his response to our last question “Who was the 13th President?” resulted in the answer of “La..laaaaaa”  Millard Filmore, but we’ll give you partial credit for cuteness!

Proudly sporting his Team USA outfit.

  1. Just the title of this post gave me goosebumps! Being on home soil in the middle of a foreign country is pretty cool. I’d be interested to hear what the consulate is like. Long lines outside? Do you get to jump all the lines with your passport?

Just think, in two more days you’ll be touching down in Chicago and back on home soil for good!

  2. Well every photo of Alexander just gets cuter and this one is the cutest (beside the one with the towel on his head)! Been following your blog … and so happy for the three of you. Such wonderful photos. Can’t wait to hear about all your adventures and see all the photos. Love, Aunt Carla
